ME406 ELT

Stay calm with the ME406 ELT. Designed for easy installation, this single-output transmitter features a 6-year battery life. In case of an emergency, it transmits a coded signal on 406 MHz every 50 seconds, enabling search and rescue teams to quickly locate your position and ensure your safety.

The mounting hardware for the ME406 series is compatible with all previous models of Artex 406 MHz ELT products, as well as the ELT-200 series, ACK, Pointer Model 3000, and Narco ELTs. Current owners of Artex 2-frequency ELTs TSO C91a can reuse the cockpit remote switch, as well as the wiring harness between the cockpit and the ELT. This significantly reduces installation costs.

ARTEX ELTs are the preferred choice for general aviation aircraft, including brands like Cessna, Piper, Cirrus, Beechcraft, Diamond, and Quest.
